First small-format edition of De motu cordis, decorated with an allegorical frontispiece and 2 intaglio figures illustrating the circulation of blood in the veins of a garroted forearm, included in the pagination (pp. 156-157).
Missing is the text Dissertatio de Corde by Jacob de Back, announced on the title page, which must be on separate pagination following Harvey's treatise. Some freckles, small stains at the binding.
