Galatea, pastoral novel; imitated by Cervantes. Paris, Defer de Maisonneuve, 1793. In-4, veined calfskin, small gilt lace, decorated smooth spine, red title coin, inner wheel, gilt edges (contemporary binding). 4 charming figures by Monsiau, engraved on copper by Cazenave and Colibert and printed in colour. Copy in large paper, with the figures before the letter, in a very nice veined calf binding of the time. Minimal binding friction.
