News. Paris, Magen, 1848. In-8, long-grained purple half-maroquin with corners, smooth spine decorated with repeated large gilt irons, bound in booklet, cover (Durvand) First edition. The first two short stories, Pierre et Camille and Le Secret de Javotte are by Alfred de Musset; the other two, Fleuranges and Deux mois de séparation, were written by his brother Paul. The copy, quoted by Carteret, appeared at the sale of the collection of the Marquis de Piolenc in 1913. It is enriched with a note from the Comédie-Française, with a voucher to pay, signed by Alfred de Musset. From the Blondeau Beauduin library (ex-libris).
