Rare booklet realized by the surrealist group, dedicated to the analysis and the explanation of the film "L'Âge d'or" by Luis Buñuel, whose script was written by the filmmaker and Salvador Dali. It contains the scenario of the film, a collective declaration signed by Aragon, Breton, Char, Dali, Éluard, Sadoul, Tzara etc., the list of the musical works played during the Golden Age, the catalog of the works exhibited at Studio 28, illustrated with 30 photograms of the film and 10 reproductions: drawings by Arp, Dali (2), Ernst (2), Miró, Man Ray (2), Tanguy (2). The end of the volume contains, head to tail, advertising pages and programs of screenings of Studio 28. Attached: - The Affair of "The Golden Age". S.l.n.d. [Paris, end of December 1930]. 1 sheet in-8 of 4 Paris, [27 x 19,2 cm.] and a free sheet recto verso of photographs. Tract drawn up after the banning of Buñuel's film and the ransacking of the surrealist exhibition at Studio 28 by the League of Patriots and representatives of the Anti-Jewish League, signed by Aragon, Breton, Char, Crevel.
