Seven glass plate negatives Circa 1910-1920 The plates depict scenes of life in Cameroon, including two beautiful photographs by Anna Wuhrmann featuring the famous throne of the king of Foumban as well as the palace colonnades and a royal drum. A Swiss missionary of the Basel mission, Anna Wuhrmann (1881-1971) was stationed at the Fumban station between 1911 and 1915, where she documented the life of the kingdom through numerous photographs, now preserved in the archives of the Basel mission in Switzerland.
