In-4, long-grained green morocco, large border formed by a cold roulette and a gilt roulette, central frame drawn by a triple cold fillet, gilt fleuron at the corners, richly decorated spine, inner roulette, gilt edges (English binding of the period). Beautiful work, printed on vellum paper and of which only the first part was published. Illustrated with a frontispiece and 204 plates (180 + 24), engraved on copper after Mirys by Baquoy, Lingée, Delaunay, de Longueil, Patas, Simonet, Trière, etc. From the library of Arthur Saltmarshe, with bookplate.
