Beautiful poem to the glory of Clemenceau, Le Tigre, qui terrasse l'Aigle allemand. This poem was published in the monthly magazine l'Ambulance, official organ of the Green Cross, in the August-September-October 1918 issue: "to Georges Clemenceau, The Eagle and the Tiger. The little Rooster of France amazed the World: (...) The Tiger, him, prowled in the deep jungle (...) The old Tiger leaps, dumb, on the black Eagle And, of a backhand of leg and a blow of jaw, He smashes its wing and wrings its neck! (...) " . The same day Théodore Botrel sends him this card "Master! Since here is the hour of the revenge, couldn't you find me an interpreter on the House for the attached sonnet which, to the diction if not to the reading obtains an enormous success (...) ".
