Porcelain plate from the service of various views with polychrome decoration in the center of a view of the Prater and the Rosamowsky Palace in Vienna, the wing decorated in gold on a blue background of swans, lyres, antique vases, ribbons and garlands of foliage. The view captioned in purple on the reverse. Mark in red: Imperial Manufacture of Sevres. Mark of setting in cover in green: 13. Av. 12 Mark in gold: 12 Mrs and TZ for 1813. Epoque Empire, year 1813. On the reverse, the label of the sales store of the imperial manufacture of Sèvres with the handwritten price. D. 24 cm Provenance : This plate comes from the service of the various views, begun in 1812. The service consisted of 48 plates when it was returned to the factory's sales store in October 1815. Following the Exhibition at the end of 1815, King Louis XVIII bought 36 plates of this service for the Tuileries castle, described as having a beautiful blue background, rich gold decoration, and various views, at 350 francs each (Arch ; Sèvres, VBB5, f° 10).
