In-4 gothic, calf turned over, double framed with triple cold fillets, fleuron at the corners, spine with five large nerves (Modern binding in the old taste). First edition, printed in gothic type. (Baudrier, vol. XII, pp. 316-317.) A compilation of texts containing very precise information on the procedure in use at the time in the ecclesiastical courts and on several questions of canon law, such as matrimonial agreements and wills. Étienne Aufréri (or Aufrère), a jurisconsult born in Poitiers around 1450, professed, among other things, law at the University of Toulouse where he died in 1511. The Decisiones, initially collected by Jean Corsier, the author's predecessor at the officiality of Toulouse, were enlarged and published by Aufréri. A copy printed on strong paper with good margins, copiously annotated in elegant contemporary handwriting, with manicules, underlining and festoons. Manuscript bookplate of the 16th century on the title. Lower corner of the title and of the first table leaf restored.
