In-4, red half-maroquin with corners, smooth spine decorated with a gilt and mosaic design, gilt head, untrimmed, cover and spine (Ch. Lanoë). 120 drawings by Daniel Vierge reproduced in heliogravure with retouching of the copperplates by the artist. Edition at 455 copies, this one of 100 on china containing a suite of 4 original watercolours by the artist engraved with etching by G. Noyon, proofs in triple state on china, and 8 ORIGINAL DRAWING SHEETS IN PENCIL. A pleasant copy, very well bound, despite small traces of wax on the boards. From the library of Etienne de Cluzel.
