Frontispiece representing Balzac's printing house located in the former rue des Marais Saint-Germain and 2 woodcut portraits by Auguste Lepère. Edition at 350 copies, this one ONE OF THE 60 HEADER ON JAPAN: it contains the 3 plates in double state on chine. Unidentified old stamp on the title. Spine faded.
