DEYEUX (Théophile). The old hunter. S.l. Paris, Houdaille], 1835. Large in-8, havana half calf, spine decorated (Binding of the second half of the 19th century). First edition, illustrated with a lithographed title, a frontispiece and 51 lithographs representing various shooting scenes. ONE OF THE RARE ILLUSTRIOUS BOOKS OF THE ROMANTIC PERIOD DEDICATED TO HUNTING. Copy in which we added 2 plates from the French painted by themselves, and 2 covers of delivery of this work: The Fisherman of the banks of the Seine and The Gendarme. Paper slightly foxed in a uniform manner.
