DESCAMPS (Alexandre). The Museum, review of the Salon of 1834. Paris, Abel Ledoux, 1834. In-4, red morocco, triple gilt fillet, figure formed by the initials DD interlaced in green mosaic at the corners, inner lace, gilt head, untrimmed, cover (Émile Rousselle). Title-frontispiece engraved by Célestin Nanteuil and 24 etching plates by Célestin Nanteuil, Barye, Decamps, Alfred Johannot, Gigoux, Delacroix, etc., transferred on lithographic stone by Delaunois, and one etching titled Femmes d'Alger engraved by Célestin Nanteuil after Eugène Delacroix. Traces of rubbing to the binding, otherwise a fine copy.
