In-8, violet calf, double gilt fillet, boards decorated with a cold cathedral plate, spine decorated, inner scroll, gilt edges (Simier R. du Roi). First edition, decorated with illuminated lettering and vignettes by Henry Monnier and Richard Bonington. COPY IN A NICE BINDING BY SIMIER DECORATED WITH A CATHEDRAL PLATE. It is quoted by Vicaire, vol. II, col. 945. From the libraries of Van der Helle (1868, n°1181), Ricardo de Heredia (I, 1891, n°1297) and Édouard Moura. Browning. Minor rubbing to binding, upper hinge partly split.
