[1843]. 3 volumes large in-8, red chagrin, two double gilt and cold filets, rocaille frame, smooth spine decorated, gilt edges (Binding of the time). Remarkable publication, entirely engraved and printed on strong vellum. Rich engraved illustration in intaglio, in first edition, including 3 title-frontispices and a large number of comositions after Daubigny, Grandville, Trimolet, Boilly, Beaumont, Meissonnier, etc. A copy in an attractive contemporary binding with rocaille decoration. Traces of white wax on the boards.
