In-4, green half-chagrin with corners, spine decorated, gilt edges (period binding). First edition, illustrated with numerous woodcuts by Dardelet after Diodore Rahoult. The first volume alone of this collection of poems in patois, the two following ones, not present here, having appeared ten years later. Some light foxing. Rubbing to the binding.
