In-12, orange half-chagrin with wooden paper band, in the middle of the boards vertical band drawn by two nets with white and orange oeser, spine titled, gilt head on witnesses, cover and spine (Binding of the time). First edition. One of 100 copies on hollande. Signed letter from the author: For Georges van Parys, with the emotion of a man who has never been so well dressed, amicably. The composer Georges van Parys (1902-1971) was a forerunner of music for the cinema. He wrote nearly 350 film scores and composed a large number of songs that are now part of the French popular repertoire. He wrote the music for Jean Anouilh's film Deux sous de violettes (1951) and for his play L'Orchestre (1962). Printed invitation ticket for the performance of the play, addressed to the Commission des auteurs by Marguerite Jamois, director of the Montparnasse theatre, mounted on top.
