The Conversion of Alcestis. Comédie. Paris, Chez l'Autheur [Imprimerie nationale], 1905. In-12, soft vellum, untrimmed (publisher's binding). Rare first edition in bookshops, with an intaglio frontispiece. Published on a self-publishing basis, it was printed in 50 copies. A copy bearing a signed letter from the author to M. Saffrey, enriched with an original photograph of Courteline (postcard size portrait, taken by H. Manuel. Missing the slipcase.
