SAINT-CÈRE (Jacques).
- Collection of 11 plays in first edition, in a large volume in-12, bradel ochre half cloth (Binding of the time). Interesting collection of plays by Jacques Saint-Cère (1855-1898): a Parisian journalist and essayist, whose real name was Armand Rosenthal, he was a columnist for the Figaro and contributed to the Revue blanche. Octave Mirbeau defended him in the Max Lebaudy affair (1896), a wealthy heir whom he was accused of having blackmailed. Bookplate of Jean Bouchery on the first endpaper. Paper of some pieces yellowed, a few brown spots. Cloth a little stained.
