Hard brown-beige stone with beautiful patina of use H. 22 cm - W. 15,5 cm Alamito-Condorhuasi funerary mask, hard brown-beige stone with beautiful patina, Argentina H. 8 5/8 in - W. 6 1/8 in Provenance: - Former Hugo Arias collection, acquired in the 1960s - Former Jose Arias collection, acquired by inheritance in 1971 - Bill Siegal, Santa Fe - Wapler-Mica sale, May 6, 2011, lot 12 - Private collection, Paris Mask of oval shape, the eyebrows and nose forming a T highlighted in high relief. Three circular openings mark the eyes and the mouth. The outline of the mask is pierced with several perforations allowing it to be fixed to the funerary burden.
