Clock known as a "vase" in chased, gilded and patinated bronze; the damping in the form of a lid with a laurel torus finished in seed; the satyr mask holds surmounted by interlaced serpentine motifs and attached to ribboned laurel garlands; gadrooned base; pedestal with flutes and a leafy torus; contoured base with a cavet decorated with rosettes and a reserve with a laurel garland tied with ribbons. The circular white enamelled dial, signed "Maison Marquis Languereau & Cie à Paris", indicates the hours in Roman numerals and the minutes in increments of five in Arabic numerals by two pierced and gilded copper hands. Louis XVI style, second half of the 19th century. H. 44 cm
