SALVAING DE BOISSIEU (Denys de).
The use of fiefdoms and other seigneurial rights in Dauphiné. Containing several remarks incidental servans to the History of Dauphiné. Grenoble, François Féronce, 1664. In-12, granite basane, decorated spine, gold fleur-de-lis repeated in the boxes, edges speckled with red (Binding of the period). Original edition. Two chapters concern the right to hunt and fish in the Dauphiné (about 40 pages). Salvaing de Boissieu (1600-1683), doctor of law, was the first president of the Chambre des Comptes du Dauphiné. Two different editions of the title page are known for this edition: this one, and another one with some typographical differences with the mention of the first part; in both cases, the collation and the text remain identical. Old manuscript ex-libris across the title (Chastenay?) and old bookstore label. Some freckles and stains, missing the first guard. Uneven caps and wear at the corners.
