It was published after Pascal's death by his brother-in-law Florin Périer, adviser at the court of the Aides of Clermont-Ferrand. Fundamental work in which Pascal formulates the principles of hydrostatics. It contains a description of Pascal's experiments on atmospheric pressure which led to the demonstration of the existence of a vacuum. Restored caps and jaws.
