Set of 4 books in one volume in-12, red morocco, triple gilt fillet, ornate spine, inside roulette, gilt edges on marbling (Binding first quarter of 18th century). Collection containing in first edition the only 4 tragedies written by Antoine de La Fosse (1653-1708), poet and tragic author who was the secretary of the Marquis de Créqui and then of the Duc d'Aumont, and member of the Academy of Apatistes of Florence. Each piece is in separate pagination, with a particular title page. Nice morocco binding in the style of Boyet. Some slight foxing. Scratches and rubbing in the binding, worm work in the tail.
