Marsile Ficin (1433-1499), Florentine humanist and philosopher was an eminent figure of Neoplatonism in the Renaissance. His De triplici vita, or The Three Books of Life, first published in Florence in 1489, contains reflections on Life and how to reach the life of heaven through a long and healthy life. Printed in round type. Great typographical mark of Georg Wolff on the title (cf. Renouard, no. 1133). Some handwritten annotations from the 16th century, some of them erased by the washing of the volume. Side margin of the last 4 table leaves restored.
