Paris, Denys Thierry, 1685. In-12, brown calf, decorated spine, speckled edges (contemporary binding). Frontispiece engraved on copper. François Barrême (1638-1703), arithmetician and financier, was one of the first to have the idea of making numerical tables for commercial and financial use and to which he gave his name. Used binding, blunt corners.
