Set of 5 books and a prospectus concerning the Guillaume Libri affair, gathered in one volume in-8, green half-marquin with corners, spine decorated with gilt fillets drawing boxes, undetermined gilt figure at the tail, speckled edges (Duru 1849). The fascinating Libri affair or the history of the mathematician and bibliophile book thief. Interesting volume made up as follows by an amateur of the time, linked to his figure by Duru: - LIBRI (G.). Answer to the Report of M. Boucly, published in the Moniteur universel of March 19, 1848. Letter to M. de Falloux, containing the account of an odious persecution and the judgment of this persecution by the most competent and considerable men of Europe. Followed by a large number of documents relating to the spoliations that took place, at various times, in French libraries and archives. Paris, Paulin, 1849. Handwritten correction p. XI, line 2 (spread against them, the word them corrected in me): this correction was encountered in another copy. - NAUDET (J.). Letter to M.
