Numbers 21, 22.1 & 2, 29.1, 31.1 and 34. Stockholm, 1897-1911. Set of 5 volumes in-4, publisher's cardboard. One of the most prestigious mathematical journals in the world. The journal Acta Mathematica was founded in 1882 by the Swedish mathematician Mittag-Leffler (1846-1927). It has an international reputation and has helped to publicize the quality of research at the Department of Mathematics at the new University of Stockholm, the Högskola, at the time. Poincaré, among others, published many articles there. These 5 volumes contain, among others, an article by Émile Borel on the Taylor series, another by Cantor, and 5 others by Poincaré. Wet stamp of a Catholic institute. Freckles, slightly used bindings.
