Omnia opera [graecae]. Basel, Heinrich Petri, s.d. end]: March 1556. In-folio, brown calf, cold fillets, central cold cartouche in arabicized form, sifted bottom, spine ribbed (contemporary binding). Schweiger, Handbuch der classischen Bibliographie, t. I, p. 241. Plato's third Greek edition, in the version of Simon Grynaeus (1493-1541), a Protestant humanist who professed Greek in Heidelberg and theology in Basel. It succeeds the editio princeps published by Marcus Musurus in Venice in 1513, with Aldus, and the edition given by Grynaeus in Basel in 1534. Text printed entirely in Greek, with the exception of the preface and the eulogy of Plato. Copy in its first binding, bearing the title this manuscript ex-libris (18th century): Caroli Francisci Le Gros Parisini. Tears without gaps on pp. 143-144, wetted throughout the volume, larger at 100 leaves. Very restored binding (head covers, corners and nerves).
