Cyrurgia. S.l.n.d. [at colophon]: Venice, Gregorio de Gregori, July 16, 1513. Gothic folio, calf turned over, black framed filet, spine ribbed (modern binding). Rare gothic edition printed in Venice of the medical writings of Guy de Chauliac (c. 1300-c. 1368), famous surgeon of the Middle Ages. Printed in gothic characters on two columns. Some handwritten annotations. Some ex-libris and handwritten mentions of the period, including an ex-libris at the end accompanied by 2 pen drawings. Incomplete copy of the title and the last table leaf, the covers of the original binding brought back. Parts 6, 7 and 8 are missing. Important multi-volume binding. Small binding snags.
