Small in-12 (104 x 64 mm), engraved title dated 1826, 192 pp.: blue morocco, double framed with two straight and curved gilt fillets, central composition of small filigree irons around a quatrefoil left in reserve, small iron at the corners, spine decorated, fawn morocco lining decorated with a lace with small irons, gilt edges (binding second half of the 19th century). Beautiful typographic edition in lower case characters, 47 lines per page. Engraved allegorical frontispiece after Stockard, dated 1828, and engraved portrait of Horace by Augustin de Saint-Aubin. Very nice morocco lined binding, decorated with small irons in the taste of the 17th century.
