Memories. On the main deeds and gestures of Loys XI & Charles VIII his Son, Kings of France. Rouen, Jean Berthelin, 1609. In-12, 11 ff.n.ch., 853 pp. and 11 ff.n.ch.: olive brown morocco, double gilt fillet, small iron at the corners, important central composition with small irons drawing an octagonal star placed in a large oval medallion made of floral motifs, spine decorated with fleurons and gilt motifs, red title coin, inside floral roulette, lining and endpapers of gilt paper of Augsburg, gilt edges (binding of the middle of the 18th century). Nice edition from Rouen, printed by Jean Berthelin after the one given by the historian and philologist Denis Sauvage. Very nice binding, with a particularly original and curious decoration. From the Masurier library, with 19th century ex-libris. Small tear in the inner margin of sheet C1, deleting a letter, and angular tear on sheet Oo4 (table) with loss of some letters. Slightly faded back, small missing corner.
