In the Infantry Garden. Paris, Le Livre contemporain, 1908. In-8, marbled fawn calf, back with four ribs underlined by cold fillets running over the plates, gold title, mosaic motif, inner fillet, pale green morocco lining bordered by a marbled calf frame, the whole decorated with a large floral lace mosaic of green, dark green and orange, glazed brown silk endpapers, gold edges, untrimmed, cover, case (Ch. Meunier 1918). Very beautiful edition, decorated with a frontispiece and 9 compositions by Carlos Schwabe engraved on wood and printed in black and sanguine, the latter and the text being placed in Art Nouveau frames in shades of grey. Circulation of 120 copies, this one in the name of a collaborator of the publisher. Three other states of the frontispiece have been added to this copy: an etching state by Bertrand, an intaglio state by Porcaboeuf, and a Fortier et Marotte state. Very beautiful copy, in a delicate leather binding lined and mosaic executed by Charles Meunier in 1918.
