Luxury edition, adorned with 96 compositions engraved with Maurice Leloir's etching. Edition of 48 copies on imperial japan, including the etchings in triple state, including the pure etching and the etching with remarks. Superb copy, bound in the taste of the 18th century by Marius Michel, enriched with 2 very beautiful original watercolours by the artist who illustrated the book, and an autograph note by Jean-Jacques Rousseau (one page in-8): this Friday 28th, Rousseau making no use of Mr. Coindet's glasses, thinking that he might need them, sent it back to him and greeted him.
