In-4, black morocco, lining of morocco cauldron decorated with a large frame of flowers and mosaic skulls, in the first counterplate is set an original copper plate, burgundy moire guards, gilded edges on witnesses, cover, back, case (Ch. Septier). 41 original etchings by Lobel-Riche, including the headings printed in different colours. Circulation 197 copies. Copy on japanese, specially printed for Lobel-Riche, containing: - an autograph letter and a unique proof dedicated to Robert Beauvillain. - 3 large drawings signed in pencil or sanguine, including one with sanguine on parchment and 2 sketches. The original copper was used to illustrate Ligeia's letterhead. The copy is furthermore completed by various suites, bound in a separate volume in green half-marocco with corners: - 4 suites of off-text: in sanguine, pure etching in black on japanese, etching in black with remarks, in colour. - 3 sets of headings: in sanguine, pure etching, and in black with remarks. - 2 states of the portrait: in sanguine and in black
