GEBHART (Émile).
King Dagobert. Paris, Ferroud, 1911. In-8, red morocco, ribbed back with cold fillets running over the plates, inner frame decorated with five gold fillets, Havana morocco lining decorated with a gold mosaic composition and various shades of colour (different for each lining), khaki green moire guards, gold edges, untrimmed, cover, case (Marius Magnin). Frontispiece and 6 compositions engraved in etching by Léon Lebègue, with gold and coloured ornaments and initials. Print run of 300 copies. One of the 20 head copies on large japanese, containing the illustrations in 4 states, including the pure etching with remarks, and an original watercolour by the artist. Interesting lined binding and mosaic by Marius Michel who was inspired by the frame of the frontispiece and the final cul-de-lampe for the decoration of the lining.
