The Three Musketeers. With a letter from Alexandre Dumas fils. Paris, Calmann Lévy, 1894. 2 volumes in-4, red morocco, framed by two double gilt filets intersecting at the corners, spine decorated in the same way, inner frame made of gilt filets and four bands of aubergine morocco, gilt fleur-de-lis at the corners, lining and moire guards dark green, cover, gilt edges on witnesses, cases (Marius Michel). Nice edition, illustrated with 250 woodcut compositions by Maurice Leloir. One of the 150 copies on china, this one including a separate print on china of all the illustrations. At the end of volume II, the catalogue of the sale of the artist's original drawings for this edition (47 pages, green cover) and the specimen, both printed on china, were bound. Very beautiful copy, perfectly established by Marius Michel. From the E. Solacroup library, with its golden number.
