In-8, fawn morocco, decoration of two green stems slipped into eight passageways, one of them blooming into leaves in the corners, back decorated in the same way, green morocco lining decorated with golden fillets and a green stem, purple flowers in the corners, brocaded silk endpapers, golden edges on witnesses, cover and back, green half morocco shirt, case (Marius Michel). 14 etchings by Édouard Chimot. Edition at 175 copies, this one of the 10 on japanese containing a suite. The copy is enriched with an additional suite, 3 autograph letters from Chimot to Robert Beauvillain, 3 original colour drawings in the margins, and 2 full-page drawings added. Beautiful lined binding signed Marius Michel, executed with his material, but which seems rather the work of Georges Cretté his successor.
