In-4, red morocco, double gilt fillets and castors, decorated spine, inside castor, gilt edges (contemporary Dutch binding). Very beautiful edition, illustrated with an allegorical frontispiece, a portrait of the author by Drevet after Vivien, a title fleuron, 24 head vignettes, 19 culs-de-lampe and 24 figures by Debrie, Dubourg and Bernard Picart. Nice red morocco binding, probably local. Wetness at the top of some leaves, traces of wetness on the dishes.
