Blake, p. 312. - Osler, n°1182. First collective edition, illustrated with a frontispiece with a portrait of the author in medallion and 11 anatomical plates engraved on copper. Giambattista Morgagni (1682-1771), an anatomy demonstrator at the University of Padua, is one of the founders of pathological anatomy. Wet stamp erased on the title. A few freckles, portrait remounted. Worm work on the guards (the last one detached).
