Original edition, illustrated with a frontispiece and 10 folding plates, including 2 large ones representing the procession, all engraved on copper by Cosimo Mogalli and Alessandro Saller. A beautiful Florentine festive book describing the spectacular procession of the icon of the miraculous Madonna of Impruneta, which was transported to the Tuscan city at the request of Grand Duke Cosimo III who hoped for an intervention by the Divine to save his son Ferdinando from a disease, in vain. Written by Giovambattista Casotti (1669-1737), parish priest, the book was published one year after a brief report of this event by the same author. Complete copy, the snack being in conformity with that provided by Brunet, t. I, col. 1615. Tearing without lack restored to a board. Margins of the guards browned by the return of the skin on the counterplates. Addicted to a headdress.
