Book by Abbot Rousseau, known as the Capucin du Louvre, describing in particular the preparation and use of Paracelsus' diaphoretic mercury, antimony mercury, nitrite and even philosophers' vinegar. Armoured bookplate engraved with Angeli Antonelli. Yellowed notebooks, spots on a few pages, marginal wetting. Small epidermis in the binding.
