MANUSCRIT. - A reasoned table of the solar,...

MANUSCRIT. - A reasoned table of the solar, cyclical, seven-year and three-year periods, related to each other, the elementary bases on which they are based and the main revolutionary events of destruction and renewal that are derived from them. 2 volumes. - Draft essay of a comparative table of the ages of the zodiacal periods of the signs of Taurus and Aries and their relationship to each other as well as to the ages of the Government of the world which can serve as a calendar.... A volume. N/A [first half of the 19th century]. Set of 3 volumes in-4 oblong, half-basane with small corners, smooth back decorated, red title piece, uncut, modern case (Binding of the time).
Very curious manuscript: the title statement is eloquent enough to know the author's intentions, namely to link various extraordinary events with the different astrological cycles.
The text covers more than 700 pages.
The first volume is divided into five periods in which the author describes and evokes the corruption of the mores of the clergy, the institution of nobiliary and feudal government, the power of arbitrariness, the reigns of Charles Martel, Pépin le Bref and Charlemagne, the papism, the ruin of the feudal government, the revolutionary seeds of destruction and renewal, the discovery of the new world in another hemisphere, the great religious discussions, the civil and political wars, the entry of Jesuits into the court of France, the birth of Masonic, Deist and Jansenist conspiracies, the organization of revolutionary instruments, etc.
The second volume contains a very precise account of the slightest events that occurred throughout the world from 1750 to 1824, with an astonishing passage on Napoleon (the author in fact as a mysterious character, supposedly a prisoner on Saint Helena, but in reality sent secretly from the Congress of Vienna to subdue the East Indies and Asia), very many interesting details concerning the uprisings and revolutions in South America, the Greek War of Independence, a long study on Ali Pasha de Janina, etc.
The last volume contains many astronomical details of the different signs of the zodiac, revolutions of fixed stars, etc.
Butterfly subscription to the Gazette de France in the name of a named Mr. D'Acqueville owner in Orbec in Calvados, glued on a counterplate.
