Large in-8 manuscript (215 x 140 mm) of 255 pages, rigid vellum, ink title on the first plate and on the back, speckled edges (original binding). 1,500/ Interesting manuscript giving details of the rarest and most common minerals, and details of 160 different processes: distillation of charcoal, purification of succin salt, dissolution of lead, amalgamation of mercury and bismuth, reduction of arsenic lime, combination to obtain sympathy sugar, sublimation of antimony, calcination of tin by means of nitre, etc. The last five pages deal with alchemy and marine ether. Slight wetting and stains on a few leaves. Restored upper cap.
