MANUSCRIT. — EPIPHANIUS
Ex Epistolio alchemico in quo Magisterium in via sicca candide proponitur descriptum. Editio Venetis 1686. In-folio manuscript (290 x 220 mm) of 48 pages, old granite veal dishes, case (modern binding). 18th century alchemical manuscript, in Latin, composed from four different treatises. The first, which is a description of the alchemical magisterium by the dry method, includes 9 letters from the Epistolium alchemicum of Epiphany (Venice edition, 1686) (pp. 1-37). According to a note from the copyist, the second treatise (pp. 38-40) is taken from a manuscript entitled Antiqui Philosophi Galli delphinatis [...]. The third is entitled Arcanum philosophorum (pp. 40-42), and the last is taken from a book by Pantaleon entitled Bifolium Metallicum.
