Tractatus judicandi revolutiones nativitatum. Lyon, Heirs of Jacques Junte, 1570. - RANTZAU (Henri). Tractatus astrologicus de genehliacorum thematum judiciis pro singulis nati accidentibus. Frankfurt, Wolfgang Richter, heirs of Pierre Fischer, 1602. Set of 2 books in one volume in-12, fauwn half-basane, title piece on the back, slices speckled with red (18th century binding). A combination of these 2 treatises on judicial astrology, the first one decorated with 3 leaflet paintings and a portrait of the author engraved on wood on the back of the title. The treatise of François Giuntini, theologian born in Florence in 1522, corrector of printing for the Junta and chaplain of Henri III's brother, is in its first edition (cf. Baudrier, t. VI, pp. 333-334). Manuscript bookplates from the 18th century, by a man named De Bovio in Toulouse, repeated. Short copy of margins. Browning and wetting, tiny gallery of worms on a few leaves. Spots on the dishes, a restored bit.
