Second edition, after the original of 1590, of this treatise on celestial phenomena by Geminus, a Greek astronomer and mathematician who lived in the first century BC.
The Latin translation, prepared by Edo-Hildericus, is printed against the Greek text.
Copy of the price of the arms of the Collège des Grassins, located in Paris on Mont Sainte-Geneviève (1569-1789), with ex-praemio in ink on the first guard, dated 1737.
Slight freckles, small marginal wetness on a few leaves. A little missing in the bottom of the title. Split jaws, blunt corners and missing headdresses.
