In-8, granite basane, golden coat of arms in the centre, back decorated, slices speckled with red (Binding around 1700). Lalande, p. 139. Second edition, after the original of 1590, of this treatise on celestial phenomena by Geminus, a Greek astronomer and mathematician who lived in the first century BC. The Latin translation, prepared by Edo-Hildericus, is printed against the Greek text. Copy of the price of the arms of the Collège des Grassins, located in Paris on Mont Sainte-Geneviève (1569-1789), with ex-praemio in ink on the first guard, dated 1737. Slight freckles, small marginal wetness on a few leaves. A little missing in the bottom of the title. Split jaws, blunt corners and missing headdresses.
